Garden-Inspired Spring Wedding
Some wedding days are defined by elaborate details and grand productions, while others shine because of their simplicity, authenticity, and the love shared between two people. Alyssa and Jacob’s wedding day was the perfect example of the latter—a beautiful, relaxed celebration centered around what mattered most to them: their ceremony and the commitment they were making to each other.
When it came time to choose their wedding venue, Alyssa and Jacob kept things simple and practical. The location was convenient and the space itself was small and affordable, which made it the perfect fit for the intimate wedding they envisioned. Sometimes the best venues are the ones that simply allow a couple to gather their closest friends and family together without distraction—and that’s exactly what this day felt like.
Their wedding carried a soft and romantic spring theme, filled with pastel colors like pink, blue, green, and lavender. These light tones helped create a garden-inspired atmosphere that felt fresh, joyful, and welcoming. With around 60 guests in attendance and a wedding party made up of three bridesmaids and three groomsmen, the entire celebration felt personal and full of meaningful connection.
For Alyssa and Jacob, the ceremony was the most important part of the entire day. They wanted to remember every moment—from the emotional walk down the aisle as Alyssa was escorted by her father, to the heartfelt exchange of vows, and finally the moment they shared their first kiss as husband and wife. It was a ceremony filled with genuine emotion and quiet anticipation as two lives officially became one.
We first met Alyssa and Jacob at the Bonnet Springs Expo, and from the start they shared how much they loved photography that captures real emotion. They told us they were drawn to our work because of how raw and authentic the images feel—moments that look and feel exactly as they happened. That authenticity was something we focused on throughout their wedding day.
Like many couples, Alyssa and Jacob admitted that it sometimes takes them a little time to warm up in front of the camera. Alyssa also shared that she felt a little insecure about her side profile, which is something many brides quietly worry about. Our goal throughout the day was to create a relaxed environment where they could simply be themselves. Once they settled in and focused on each other, their natural connection made every photo feel effortless.
Their wedding day truly lived up to the three words they used to describe it: garden, beautiful, and relaxed. It was a celebration filled with laughter, emotion, and meaningful moments shared with the people who matter most.
Alyssa and Jacob’s wedding is a reminder that the heart of a wedding day isn’t the size of the venue or the scale of the event—it’s the love between two people and the memories created as they begin their next chapter together.
