Elegant Gaylord Palms Resort Wedding
Some love stories are built on grand gestures, while others are built on the little moments that happen every day. For Kailee and Joseph, it was the simple things—scream-singing in the car, spontaneous ice cream runs, sharing movie quotes, and encouraging one another to become better people—that laid the foundation for a beautiful marriage.
On Saturday, May 30, 2026, these two celebrated their wedding day at the stunning Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center, surrounded by the people who love them most. Their day was filled with joy, laughter, heartfelt moments, and the kind of love that feels effortless.
A Love Story Rooted in Friendship and Growth
Kailee and Joseph began dating in July of 2021 and quickly discovered that they balanced each other perfectly. While Kailee describes herself as someone who can sometimes be serious and stressed, Joseph has always had a way of bringing laughter and fun into every situation.
"He's the kind of person who likes to scream-sing songs in the car with me, take me to get ice cream, and quote movies and TV shows," Kailee shared.
Joseph, on the other hand, admires Kailee's unwavering kindness and positivity. He often says that her outlook on life has made him a better person and taught him that kindness truly goes a long way.
Together, they have built a relationship centered on encouragement, growth, and genuine friendship—qualities that were evident throughout every moment of their wedding day.
The Proposal
Their journey toward marriage took a memorable turn on March 22, 2025.
Joseph planned a surprise proposal at Bonnet Springs Park by the lake. Unknown to Kailee, her sister and a photographer were hidden nearby as he led her to a beautifully decorated spot complete with roses and a "Marry Me" sign.
As they arrived, Joseph got down on one knee and asked the question that would begin the next chapter of their story. Family and friends cheered as Kailee said yes, and the couple celebrated with portraits overlooking the lake.
Although they initially considered a longer engagement, Kailee knew she had always dreamed of a March wedding. Waiting until 2027 felt too far away, so they planned their celebration for 2026 and eagerly counted down the days until they could finally become husband and wife.

Gaylord Palms Resort provided the perfect backdrop for Kailee and Joseph's wedding day. The elegant architecture, lush landscaping, and timeless atmosphere complemented their vision beautifully.

Their wedding was not only a celebration of their love but also a reflection of the relationships, memories, and experiences that brought them to this moment.
One of our favorite parts of the day was capturing the genuine laughter they share together. Whether they were holding hands during portraits, sharing quiet moments between events, or celebrating with loved ones on the dance floor, their connection was undeniable.

As Kailee and Joseph begin this new chapter together, one thing is clear: their marriage is built on more than romance. It is built on friendship, kindness, patience, laughter, and the willingness to help one another grow.
